How we work

A structured workflow that reduces uncertainty

Building should not feel like guessing what happens next. Every PlinthFlow project follows a readable sequence, consultation, cost estimation, agreement, planning and design, construction and updates, and quality checks and handover, so owners know what we are doing, what they need to decide, and when the next update arrives. The goal is not a longer brochure. It is fewer surprises on site.

From first call to handover

Six stages. Clear ownership.

This is the home construction process we follow in Bangalore and nearby areas. Timelines vary by plot and scope, but the sequence stays the same so communication stays honest.

    Quality checks & Handover

  1. 01

    Consultation

We listen first, your plot, goals, constraints, and how you want to live in the finished space. Feasibility and fit are discussed without pressure to sign.

    Deliverables

    • Shared understanding of requirements and priorities
    • Initial feasibility notes for the site and scope
    • Clear recommendation on the next planning step

    Your involvement

Share plot details, rough budget band, timeline intent, and any drawings or references you already have.

  2. 02

    Cost estimation

Scope, materials, and programme are discussed in plain language so the estimate matches the work, not a vague headline number that shifts later without explanation.

    Deliverables

    • Transparent scope aligned to the plan
    • Material and finish planning notes
    • Timeline discussion tied to stages

    Your involvement

Confirm finish direction, ask clarifying questions, and approve the estimate package before work deepens.

  3. 03

    Agreement

Terms, milestones, and responsibilities are written down before design and construction accelerate, so both sides know what is included, what is excluded, and how decisions will be handled.

    Deliverables

    • Clear scope, exclusions, and milestone structure
    • Agreed responsibilities for owner and builder
    • A documented starting point for the programme

    Your involvement

Review terms, ask clarifying questions, and confirm the agreement before planning and construction deepen.

  4. 04

    Planning & Design

Site realities and design coordination come before execution. We align layout intent, structure, and programme so the build starts from a plan, not improvisation.

    Deliverables

    • Site assessment and constraint notes
    • Design coordination with drawings and decisions
    • Project plan with stage sequence

    Your involvement

Review layouts and key decisions, confirm preferences, and approve the planning direction before construction begins.

  5. 05

    Construction & Updates

Execution follows the agreed plan with site supervision and regular owner updates. Progress is measured against stages, not verbal assurances.

    Deliverables

    • Site mobilisation and structured execution
    • Weekly progress updates
    • On-site supervision and coordination

    Your involvement

Review updates, attend agreed site meetings when useful, and raise questions early while changes are still manageable.

  6. 06

    Quality checks & Handover

Quality is checked stage by stage, structure, materials, and finishes, then the completed space is transferred with a walkthrough, documentation, and residual support.

    Deliverables

    • Stage-wise inspections and material verification
    • Final walkthrough and snag closure
    • Handover documentation and post-completion support pathway

    Your involvement

Join key inspection reviews when invited, walk the completed space with us, note remaining items, and confirm handover once snags are closed.

How we keep you informed

Communication you can follow

Owners should not chase the site for answers. We build update habits into the programme so progress stays visible, including for NRI clients abroad.

  • Regular updates

Progress is shared on a predictable rhythm so you know what moved, what is next, and what needs a decision.

  • Photo sharing

Site photos accompany updates when they clarify status, especially useful when you cannot visit every week.

  • Site meetings

Agreed site reviews keep important decisions grounded in what is actually built, not only drawings.

  • Progress discussions

Milestones and open items are discussed plainly, including delays, trade-offs, and owner choices.

  • Transparency

Scope changes and material decisions are documented. Opaque contractor fog is not part of the process.

Quality assurance

How quality is maintained

Quality is not a slogan at the end. It is planned into sequencing, supervised on site, and checked before finishes close the work.

  • Planning first

Layouts, structure, and finish intent are coordinated early so craft is not left to last-minute improvisation.

  • Disciplined execution

Work follows agreed stages. Skipping checks to look faster is not how we protect the build.

  • Site supervision

Supervision keeps trades aligned to the plan and catches issues while correction is still practical.

  • Material selection

Materials and finishes are selected and verified against what was agreed, not substituted quietly.

  • Inspection rhythm

Stage-wise inspections and finishing reviews sit before handover, so snags are closed with intent.

FAQ

Questions about our process

How often will I receive updates?

During construction we share weekly progress updates as a baseline, with additional notes when a milestone completes or a decision is needed. Photo updates are included when they clarify status. If you need a different rhythm, for example as an NRI owner, we agree that during planning.

Can I visit the site during construction?

Yes. Owners are welcome on agreed visit windows. We coordinate visits so they are useful and safe, and so they do not interrupt critical work without purpose. Site meetings for key decisions are planned into the programme.

Can changes be made during construction?

Some changes are possible; others affect structure, programme, or cost more than expected. We review requested changes against the agreed scope, explain impact honestly, and only proceed once you approve. Early decisions cost less than late ones.

How are delays handled?

When weather, approvals, material lead times, or site findings affect the programme, we tell you promptly, with cause, impact, and revised sequencing. We do not hide delays behind vague updates. Honest recovery planning beats silent slip.

What happens after project completion?

Handover includes a final walkthrough, snag closure, and documentation for the completed work. After that, we remain available for post-completion support questions tied to the build. Ongoing maintenance of the home remains the owner’s responsibility unless separately agreed.
